Just a quick post to update everyone, because I keep getting messages and comments - "how are you - is the baby here yet?" etc etc lol.

No, the baby is not here yet. The world's most dragged out pregnancy is living up to its name well and truly. At 34 weeks I had an ultrasound to find out the size of the baby as the Obstetrician thought that it was quite large for its gestational age. At 34 weeks, I had a 6.5lb baby - the size of a 36 weeker. So this week, (38) who knows how big this child is!!! We have been told that if we go to week 40, to expect a 10lber!!! Next Thursday I am booked in to have another ultrasound for the same reason and the Doctor has said that if the baby is so big that it may cause problems, then I may be induced after 38 weeks. So, with a bit of luck, I MAY be given a little bit of a reprieve away from this horrible pregnancy stuff that is inevitable at the end. At the moment I have painful Braxton Hicks Contractions on several occasions each day, my hips and sciatic nerve are shot and I waddle when I walk lol. I manage to survive on 2 toilet trips each night but due to us finally getting our Beautiful King Size bed, William is hardly disturbed during the night with all of the tossing and turning.

DESPITE all of the above, and the not being able to bend over, needing a nanna nap each afternoon, dropping most of the items I pick up and only JUST being able to fit behind the steering wheel, I am so Excited and so GLAD to have this opportunity once again to carry a baby and be a mummy all over again.

At the moment we are keeping a close eye on the housing market in our area, but enjoying having a place of our own (to rent) without the additional costs of upkeep etc.

About a month ago we FINALLY! got a new car!!! A mitsubishi 380, 2006 model. Will and I had a few arguments at the beginning as to who could drive it each day, but for the majority of the time, I drive it now because it is big enough to fit the kiddies etc. I love it, its so snazzy!

Anyhow, until the next post, I will keep monitoring all of these false labour pains I keep having, and to all friends and family, rest assured I will send an sms and/or announcement email to you all as soon as possible after the little one is born safe and sound.

Cheers!! Suzi xo
