Nanny's 80th Birthday

Here's everyone

This Saturday we celebrated my Grandmother's 80th Birthday. We had a lovely day and as usual got some great photos. Happy Birthday Nanny!

I have been a little off colour recently, so have been taking it easy. Today though, I decided that there were some things that NEEDED doing!! I folded so many clothes that I'm surprised there were any left in the cupboards! I have a huge pile of Chelsea's outgrown clothes that will be going onto ebay very soon. I planted 4 trees that will hopefully grow into a beautiful hedge along the side fence. I cleaned the kitchen up and then cooked lasagne for dinner - something we haven't had in a LONG time. William was very appreciative!!! Anyway, I have alot to do still so I had better keep this short and sweet.
Enjoy your week Suzi xo Posted by Picasa

I have had an interesting year so far. As you would probably notice, I have hardly posted anything at all. This is because I have been so tired and busy with work, home and the usual commitments, all starting a fresh for the year. We had a quiet New Years and then went up the coast for a weekend with mum and dad in their unit. We always look forward to time up the coast with the family, because it reminds us of how much fun we have together as a family and also with our three newest members, William, Dave and Chelsea.
As per usual everyone couldn't get out of a 'photo shoot' with me, but when looking at the end result, I am glad I persevere and force everyone to have their pictures taken. I am so thrilled with some of the shots I took on our last day.
After returning to work for just a week, my workmate Troy and his fiance Kylie were farewelled with a party at our house. We wish them well in Sydney and Troy with his new position at the Head Office of our Company.

We both are back at work, I am doing quite a bit of overtime - I don't know if this is good or bad at times!! Chelsea began dancing this week. Ballet and eisteddfod group one day and tap and jazz the next. She looks so gorgeous in her little outfit and she had a ball - I am happy that she enjoys dancing so much. It brought a tear to my eye, when I watched my baby stand in first position and run across the room with her arms out like a beautiful ballerina for the first time.
This weekend we have William's sister Samantha staying with us for a few nights. She is 5 months pregnant with her first little one - who will be Chelsea's first cousin - and our first neice/nephew. We are all so excited and I probably won't see Sam again before the baby is born, so I had to use this opportunity to take some 'tummy photos'. I think you will agree they are gorgeous - she looks so radiant.
So there you have it, after around a month, I am finally touching base and updating everyone.
Hope you enjoy the photos - as much as I loved capturing them.

Ps - dont even bother to ask about the yard - it is a shambles - weeds, overgrown plants, palm fronds, Ahhh!! Will it never be finished? Thats why my darling husband is having this week off work - we shall see if he 'finishes the yard' as planned.... lol Posted by Picasa
