New Years Resolutions

I have never been one for Resolutions, but I feel this year that I am mature enough to carry out anything that I have set myself.....
I pray my friends and family remain such a large part of my life in 2007.

1 To spend more time, being a MOTHER. Through working fulltime and spending alot of the remaining time either on the house, socialising or on hobbies, I know I have not spent as much time with Chelsea as I would like to. I will learn to play, to read stories, to make believe and to dance like a fairy, not just sometimes, but all of the time... I owe this to my daughter
2 To become a better WIFE. William and I are always in and out of the house, at work, at sport, at friends, at the shops, it is rare that we get to sit down on the verandah of an evening and talk about our day. I want to show my husband that I appreciate everything he does (and he does alot!) and make sure he knows, that above everyone else in this world, that he is my number 1.
3 To continue being a friend to everyone..... I really want my friends to know that I appreciate them and trust them entirely. I want to make sure that everyone I meet, always sees the best side of me and says goodbye with positive thoughts
4 To appreciate what I have.... We want so much in this world, but rarely look at what we already have and appreciate it. I am going to appreciate my husband and daughter, my family and friends, my home and belongings
5 To be freely and openly creative..... To scrapbook, read, cook and garden more often and also to not be afraid of what others may think, of things I do or say.

With the best of luck for your own resolutions,
Whatever they may be....

Our Christmas Card Shots

These are the great shots we took back in November for our Christmas Cards this year. The black and white photo is the one that actually went in the card. I was so happy with them, but didnt want to put them on until everyone had received their card! The spot was an old quarry in our region that has been turned into a park - a really nice place.

Happy New Year
