Christmas Day 2006

We had a lovely Christmas day as usual. Chelsea received so many presents, the highlight of the day being her cubby house from Santa.
We went over to mum and Dad's for Christmas Breakfast, went to my Aunt and Uncle's house about 1.5hrs drive north for Lunch and in the afternoon went back to mum and dads for relaxing, swimming and dinner!! So stuffed with food right now - glorious Christmas food.

Saturday...

This Saturday, the 23rd, we went out for a barbie at a local park with some of Will's workmates and their girlfriends. It was a blazing hot day, but the boys played cricket, a bit of baseball and rode their bikes over the dirt jumps. Chelsea kept us girls laughing with her antics.

Fairy Godmother Renee comes to visit

Renee and her kids came over today for a bbq. The kids happily played together and exchanged presents, despite the rain. We got some fantastic photos, I have only put the ones of Chelsea and Tristan on though.

Early Christmas at 'Grandma and Grandads'

Every year we go up to Will's mum and Stepdad David's house (Grandma and Grandad) for an early Christmas. They live out in the country amongst fields and fields of crops and its always great to go out there for some fresh air. Chelsea got spoilt, we had a delicious Bbq lunch and admired the beautiful fields and gardens, as well as the change of weather as the afternoon rolled on.

This storm was rolling in as we left about 2pm. David 'orders in' a storm every year we come up for Christmas!

Carols By Candlelight

Last Friday we went to the Big Carols by Candlelight at the Turf Club. Ipswich really excelled with their choice of performers and the whole atmosphere of the event. We really enjoyed the night, especially Santa arriving in the Channel 10 helicopter! After waiting and waiting, Chelsea fell asleep and then slept right through the amazing fireworks.
