David and Aimee's Wedding

Aimee and Dave have been married for 1 week today, and it seems like just a second ago that we were all getting ready on the big day.
They were married at Caloundra and we all stayed up there for the weekend which was great. The day went perfectly and both the ceremony and Reception were beautiful and memorable. Congratulations!!!

Galloping off into the sunset

The things they get up to when mummy goes out!! Yes - Chelsea is in his cot with him!

Our Little Ikea Baby

Heya - I'm just, um, hiding?

We have been kept quite busy recently with the usual mid-year kinds of things. Chelsea danced in an eisteddfod in June. She has three solos now and got two 1sts and one 2nd. She came home with trophies and prize money totalling $27 so she was totally rapt. She turned 5 just over one week ago, and surprise surprise, got a Nintendo DS. It is very difficult to share a DS between a household of people who all want to have a go!!! I'm sure the novelty will wear off before long though. We just had a small family get together this year at home. A few weeks ago, we found out that she has been accepted into the Catholic Private school that we chose, for Prep next year, so we are very happy about that - just one thing less to worry about.

Will is enjoying his new job, he has been studying for the last two weeks for two exams which he will sit tomorrow, which is not an easy thing to do with two littlies running around!

Rhys.... hmmm... Rhys.... THE REFLUX HAS FINALLY STOPPED!!!!
Hooray, finally on his 5th different formula, we have had success. I must admit though, we did have an incident this evening, but he was coughing and must have lost control a bit lol. I was almost at my wits end with trying to cure the endless throwing up, and I am so appreciative now!! He rolled over for the first time yesterday (back to front) and reaches out for toys. Everything - EVERYTHING goes into his mouth, which also has a permanent stream of dribble coming out of it. He is turning out very much like his big sister, a very bright and observant little boy who is always laughing.

I have actually stepped back a bit with work, since going back after my maternity leave. I hate it, because I have had a taste of the life at home, looking after the kiddies, and now that I had to go back and leave them, it was very hard. Unfortunately, there are certain things that we want in the future that rely on my income in addition to William's lol, so at work is where I must stay, at least for the time being.

We have all been sick this week. I started off the line-up and ended up having two days off. My right ear has been blocked for about 5 days - and its starting to get a little irritating, I have started lipreading!! lol

Aimee and David's wedding is fast approaching and I believe everything is pretty much finished from what Aimee tells me. I am the Maid of Honour, Will is a groomsman and Chelsea is the flowergirl. Hope we get some nice photos of Will and I dressed up together, which is a rarety!
Last night was Aimee's hens night and we went to a Brazilian Club. The meal was great and the Brazilian dancers were unbelievable - it was a really good night out, despite the traffic in the city! - You can so tell that I don't do that type of thing often!!

And in closing, to answer the obligatory questions:
1. Yes we still have the block
2. No the house is not built yet
3. No we have not started building yet
4. Yes I am scared about the prospect of starting this project eventually!!
