Congratulations Troy and Kylie

Troy and Kylie - what a gorgeous shot! Cutting the cake together
The Crew from work - I had a great time with you guys!! We all had such a ball last night, I paid for it this morning though, dragging my behind out of bed with a thumping headache. - Yes my own fault!
Our shopping trip today was fantastic we went to so many shops - shoes, bags, giftware, toys, linen, bras, chocolate - you name it. For lunch we went to Broncos Leagues Club and had our photo with Shane Webke taken as you can see below. LOL. The bus brought us home at around Sunset. The trip felt alot shorter as for half of the journey Renee and I cacked ourselves laughing whilst playing silly buggers with some removalists who were driving in their truck next to our bus for the majority of the motorway. (Thats all I will elaborate on - its our little secret! LOL)
For the entire day, our bus of 40 women spent $7980! And yes, I confess, I am the only one who bought 4 pairs of shoes amongst other things. - All heels of course!
Enjoy your week, especially Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday. Suzi xo

WOW!! What a Weekend!

Renee and I on the Shopping tour bus, we had a ball!
Posing with Shane Webke - LOL only joking, thats a cardboard cutout visa advertisement.
With our days takings afterwards (majority is not mine!) I promise!

My new baby

Isn't she beautiful....

This is my favourite new bag I bought this week. Everyone who knows me well, will know about my 'handbag collection'. Quite a few of the older ones from that collection were sold today at our Garage sale. Despite the rain, we had heaps of customers and made A LOT more than we expected! Our friends Kylie and Troy have their engagement party tonight CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!

This may be the very last photo that you see taken by this camera, you see, the insurance company approved the claim from when my last one was stolen and right now, William is out picking up my new baby - my new camera!!!! Posted by Picasa

I hope everyone's weekend was great. As per usual, we were out in the backyard. Here is William preparing a patch of the yard for lawn, it used to be a vege garden, but we just don't have the time to maintain something like that!

I spat the dummy yesterday arvo and told William that I was finished working in the yard and from now on will be concentrating on the inside of the house. - The painting, fittings, flooring etc that have been neglected!

We have done some more to the big garden in the middle, but I'm not happy with the result, so I won't be posting anymore photos of it until its finished!
Chicko and I just took this photo of ourselves about 10 minutes ago. Dancing is wrapping it up for the year soon, and the Christmas concert is getting closer. Chelsea's group are doing a dance to the Hi5 song 'Action Hero'.

Click here to see the Hi5 Action Hero Video Clip

Chelsea is doing well at swimming lessons as well. At the moment she's blowing bubbles under the water and reaching down to pick up toys under the water.

I am soooooooooo looking forward to the party season coming up. Our work Christmas party is coming up in a few weeks, which should be an ALL NIGHTER! I am going on a warehouse shopping tour this weekend, an engagement party, enjo parties, candle parties and we are hoping to go to Dreamworld soon. Chicko is old enough to enjoy everything now.

Anyhow, have a great evening, Suzi xo Posted by Picasa

Mums Bears

I have been wanting to show mums bears for a long time but have never got around to it.

Mum made all of these bears from scratch, I think she is just so clever.
They all have names, but I only know a few! Posted by Picasa

Our progress

I really like the before and after photos, here's where we're at as of this weekend. We have been here for 9 1/2 months now.

Above: January 06 2 weeks after we moved in

Above: September 06 beginning to put in the 'big' garden

Today: October 06 'Big' Garden being planted slowly, back garden and lawn down and seed sown

G'day G'day

Hi Everyone, We've had an action packed weekend as per usual.

Friday arvo I decided to get some scrapbooking done, and also photographed a few more things that I want to put on Ebay eventually.
Saturday morning got up and went down to Bunnings with Chicko to pick up the weekly supply of plants. Will helped his Dad with some mowing and then they both came back to take a uteload of green waste to the tip. I started (and finished) a garden along our back path, which runs the full length of Chelsea's new play area.

As you can see here, this whole area has been flattened out over two weekends and William planted grass seeds today. Along the fenceline is also another garden in which we have planted trees that will hide the fence and be able to be shaped like hedges.

I love this photo of Chicko washing her feet when we were cleaning up - check out the colour of the water!! (that's from me as well!!)On a spur of the moment I took a photo of my Darling and I which is already one of my favourites. We both look so content and comfortable - I love being with him on the weekends.

Last night I went out to dinner with Jess and Rikki and as usual had a great time. Whilst we were having dinner, less that 1km away, Chelsea and Meagan's Dance Studio was on fire. Some low lives set fire to the verandah and as the building is timber, it took off. Mum rang me late last night to let us know and today we went down there to have a look. Miss Janine and alot of mums and students were there as the firies and police were clearing debris and gathering evidence. Chelsea was worried "Where's my dancing gone?" But hopefully they find another hall to tide us over, alot of the girls have exams soon and the concert is fast approaching!

I have been informed that its my turn to cook dinner tonight even when I had to go to work for a short time today! But that's ok, I can't remember the last time I cooked dinner, Will does it every night. - Aren't I lucky!

Hope your weekend has been as action packed and satisfying as ours. Enjoy the coming week. Suzi xo

Fairies - 5 months on

Chelsea in our back garden - May 06

Chelsea in our Back Garden today -
30 September 06

This is the stage we're at, at the moment. Putting in new plants, digging, digging some more. Today we were right down at the back fence levelling the ground. Once that is finished the trampoline, swings and cubby house will go down there with grass.
Its a big job, Will and I were both digging and pushing barrow loads of dirt for a good 3 hours in the sun this morning and we have only scratched the surface. As our block slopes down to the back, we are terracing the gardens and some of the lawn areas so we can have some flat ground to use. Posted by Picasa

Andrew's Birthday

This is Chelsea with mums latest creation. - a reborn doll. Basically, a lifelike baby doll is stripped of all factory paint and markings and then painted to look lifelike, complete with veins, finger and toenails, new eyes, a weighted body and individually rooted tufts of mohair for beautiful baby hair. Mum still doesn't have a name for her!! I'm shocked! I love this little baby so much, I carry her around like she is real. haha.

My brother Andrew was very lucky and got a Trailbike recently, so obviously William was itching to get over there to see it on his birthday. All the boys (and even some of the girls) got a ride.

It's times like these....

BEFORE The Jungle Dec 05

It's times like these that I wonder if we are doing the right thing. When I compare these two photos I love the shade and the beautiful quiet of the jungle that used to be our backyard. All I have right now is dirt, tree stumps and the bbq season fast approaching. Have we done the right thing pulling everything out and wanting a structured an orderly garden and lawn?
Despite these comparisons, the second photo shows an unfinished backyard, with still alot of work to be done. I seem to forget the mosquitos, the lack of space and the constant mess that was our Rainforest and thinking back, I know that we have done the right thing.

The view from the pergolah THEN (Dec 05)
Yay! Thanks to my kind sister Aimee, I have a loan camera. So I have snapped a few of the latest changes around the place.

Will and I are amazed at this before and after photo of the pergolah! See the jungle behind the lattice??? We have had one busy year....

After two weeks of Silence....

I have not posted in so long.......... Lots has happened....... Lots and lots.......
I am currently trawling my computer for a picture ANY picture that I can pop into this post, you see, a Berderow post without a photo is like the proverbial pub with no beer.

Basically I am without a digital camera at the moment, as it happens to belong to someone else now, without my permission. Whoever and wherever they are, I hope they're enjoying the camera, the handbag, the two tickets to Hi5 and all of the other goodies that were inside my handbag when it was stolen from a bbq at a friends house. I would also like them to know just how much trouble they have caused us as the house and both car keys were also in there. - Just wanted to get that off my back, this world is full of low lives and I know that kharma will ensure they eventually get their just desserts!

ANYHOW! We have been very busy indeed for the past fortnight. We are currently in 'Phase 2' of the backyard makeover. Basically we have taken out all of the gardens and path on one side of the backyard and have put in new gardens, with new plants. I LOVE buying new plants!! They look so great all planted in rows along the edge of the garden. All of the area that was previously garden and path will now be lawn. Everyone who has seen the yard will probably be able to imagine it, but everyone else, you're just gonna have to pretend. LOL

The Theatre room wall has finally been painted and I have a picture wall now! I have always wanted one.

I had a Linen Party last night, it was great to see my friends again. I got some new bath sheets, bath mat, a gorgeous mat for Chelsea's room and a soft mink throw rug that will be soooo nice in Winter on the lounge!

Chelsea is well into learning her 'Action Heros' Dance at Kindermovement. They are all going to look so gorgeous in the concert.

I haven't even touched on 1/4 of whats been happening lately, but just a little post to let everyone know I'm still here! oh, and thats right......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!!!!!!!
14 TODAY!!!!!!
Have a great birthday to my favourite brother... See you tomorrow

(Chelsea says Happy Birthday BOBO)

LOL couldn't resist popping just one photo in there!!! - Andrew in his Jackie Howe singlet, earlier this year. Until next time Suzi xo

Gotcha Photos

Its that time again and Chelsea looks gorgeous as ever in her latest portraits. Gotcha takes kids photos in Shopping Centres and they are such a breath of fresh air from the standard Pixifotos!

I restrained myself and didn't buy the whole package this time, just these two.
Mummy Loves you Chicko xo
